About the Twelve Cans Series for 2018
Twelve plastic ammo boxes (aka "ammo cans") were hidden in SGL 108 for Days 1 through 12, which ran Dec 25, 2018, through Jan 5, 2019. Each of these caches contained a prize and code for the FTF. These codes were used to "bid" on additional FTF prizes which were awarded at the Annual JAGA event ( GC801HB ).
Each of the 12 Cans caches also contains a specific ornament affixed to the top of the lid. Keeping track of each ornament that matches each Day's can will allow the unlocking of the final series can, GC81FA6.
12 Cans Trackables
Four trackables were dropped, one each, into the last 4 Days cans at publishing (Days 9-12). These trackables are free to roam the US geo-map, sharing this link to the 12 Cans Series and possibly provide some interest for out-of-town geocaching visits. Those four TBs have an attached ornament that matches its associated starting cache, so if you discover that ornament, you already have one of the 12 pieces of information for the lock on the series final can ( GC81FA6 ).
